Organs of interest:

Research focus: I manage a portfolio of grants focused on the metabolic physiology of diabetes and diabetes in animals and man, with an emphasis on the mechanisms of insulin resistance, thermogenesis and energy homeostasis. I have a deep interest in the development of technologies to study mechanisms of diabetes and obesity in vivo, including functional imaging.
